Bob Seger Talks About His Tour, Getting Old, etcAs the Bob Seger tour continues to blow away the crowds, the great man himself recently commented, "My career is winding down...What can I say? I can't do this much longer." Seger was, of course, referring to the fact that he isn't getting any younger, and in fact is amazed at his ability to put on these great shows for his loyal fans. Seger gave up alcohol in the 1990s and attributes some of his staying power to this fact, but he is only human, and this supply of Bob Seger tickets could well be one of the very last. With 11 Platinum selling albums and a glittering 40 year career, Bob Seger has proved to be one of the hardest working and accomplished ever. His string of hit records contain some of the most meaningful songs in American culture, and it is hard to believe that one man wrote all those killer songs. Seger was inducted into Cleveland's Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in 2004, not a day too soon, and the final date of this Bob Seger tour will indeed be in Cleveland, at the Quicken Loans Arena. In discussing his advanced years as a performer, Seger told Rolling Stone that his manager was 70 years old, and that they've "been together for 45 years now and we need to stop pretty soon and turn it over to the Kid Rocks and Eminems". Seger was suffering from the flu prior to his concert in Buffalo, and he was forced to cancel a show, but he has shown the cities of America's heartland that he is still up for the ride, even at the age of 66. The Bob Seger schedule and tickets are still available but they're virtually sold out. And in more news, Bob is rumored to be recording a track or two with Kid Rock and Cheryl Crow! Ya see, Seger can still hang with the kids!
