Well, there were rumors circulating about Bob Seger. Tickets were selling for his latest smash hit tour, but apparently Bob is still cool with the younger musicians of this country. According to reports, Seger recently recorded a song called "Hannah" with Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow in Nashville. Kid Rock was playing a show in the city, and Sheryl Crow lives in the country capital. The two met up with Seger at a recording studio and, according to the elder statesman, they did a sterling job. Seger has played with the two before; Kid Rock's "Born Free", which he sang with Crow, also featured Bob Seger on piano, and not a lot of people know that. "Hannah" is not bound to be a chart-topper, according to Seger, but it will be one that people love and respect.

"It's a pretty little song", Seger said, "It's not a hit or anything, but it's a pretty song with a nice melody. It's a father to a daughter song".

At a time when Bob Seger has been making noises about getting old, this news comes as a breath of fresh air. Let's hope Bob leaves many more nuggets before he finally drops off the tour schedule altogether.
