Bob Seger Records a Song With Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow

Well, there were rumors circulating about Bob Seger. Tickets were selling for his latest smash hit tour, but apparently Bob is still cool with the younger musicians of this country. According to reports, Seger recently recorded a song called "Hannah" with Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow in Nashville. Kid Rock was playing a show in the city, and Sheryl Crow lives in the country capital. The two met up with Seger at a recording studio and, according to the elder statesman, they did a sterling job. Seger has played with the two before; Kid Rock's "Born Free", which he sang with Crow, also featured Bob Seger on piano, and not a lot of people know that. "Hannah" is not bound to be a chart-topper, according to Seger, but it will be one that people love and respect.

Bob Seger Talks About His Tour, Getting Old, etc

As the Bob Seger tour continues to blow away the crowds, the great man himself recently commented, "My career is winding down...What can I say? I can't do this much longer." Seger was, of course, referring to the fact that he isn't getting any younger, and in fact is amazed at his ability to put on these great shows for his loyal fans. Seger gave up alcohol in the 1990s and attributes some of his staying power to this fact, but he is only human, and this supply of Bob Seger tickets could well be one of the very last. With 11 Platinum selling albums and a glittering 40 year career, Bob Seger has proved to be one of the hardest working and accomplished ever. His string of hit records contain some of the most meaningful songs in American culture, and it is hard to believe that one man wrote all those killer songs. Seger was inducted into Cleveland's Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in 2004, not a day too soon, and the final date of this Bob Seger tour will indeed be in Cleveland, at the Quicken Loans Arena. In discussing his advanced years as a performer, Seger told Rolling Stone that his manager was 70 years old, and that they've "been together for 45 years now and we need to stop pretty soon and turn it over to the Kid Rocks and Eminems".

Bob Seger - A Real Man Living a Real Life

One of the most admirable things about this 2011 Bob Seger tour is the actual course of the trek itself. The widely acknowledged master of Heartlands Rock has deliberately targeted those second-tier cities of America's Rust Belt, the ones long forgotten by the hipsters and quasi cool communities along the nation's coastlines. Cities like Toledo, Buffalo, Cleveland and Kansas City will bring out the best in Seger, as those gigs will be packed with the kinds of characters he writes about, and has indeed lived with. It would be easy for this giant of Americana to hit the major markets such as New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia and Atlanta, and woo the Johnny-come-latelys who discovered him less than ten years ago.

Bob Seger Tour 2011 Hits Michigan!

Bob Seger is rocking audiences as the 2011 Bob Seger tour hits American cities and the master brings his awesome catalog to life. Seger recently performed a home state concert in Saginaw, Michigan and he let it be known that he really loved playing to his fellow Michigan natives. Seger had Don Brewer and Craig Frost with him and Seger says "both being from the Flint/Saginaw area also pumped up the crowd, which makes it a lot of fun." The Michigan trio made sure that Bob Seger fans didn't go unsatisfied, as they sang along with the band and a great Bob Seger concert was enjoyed by all. "It's great anytime we play in Michigan," Seger said, "we see friends and people we've worked with through the years in the audience. I had a great night; it was a great crowd."

Bob Seger Tickets 2011 - and a New Single, Too!

Now that Bob Seger tickets are selling like wildfire, the news has just come out that Bob Seger's latest single will be a cover of "Downtown Train", the Tom Waits song already covered by another rock legend currently on tour, Rod Stewart. The gritty tune was virtually tailor-made for Seger's soulful style, and the Detroit rocker was heard playing on Detroit radio stations today, Monday, February 28, singing those lyrics as only he can. I'm sure Tom Waits would agree that, along with himself and Stewart, few other people could have made such a good job of the tune.

Bob Seger heads out like a Silver Bullet

Bob is coming out again! It's been a decade since he last played before a million fans, with the fourth most popular tour in 1996.
Though he's not crazy about being on the road, some people are just driven. Kind of like me. I have made it my mission to help others like myself that value the Seger name to find tickets to see him.
Currently he's touring the Midwest, but that area will most likely expand as he realizes how everyone everywhere needs a Silver Bullet in their life!
My favorite place to find tickets to see Bob Seger is TicketLiquidator. They have great Bob Seger tickets. Their prices are great, and they have a great selection.

If you're a Van Halen fan, you can also take a look at Van Halen tickets or for Cheech and Chong fans, there are Cheech and Chong tickets.

Bob Seger Is Back!!!

For a second there it seemed like Bob Seger, age 66, was was about to shut down his career for good. After playing an epic series of tour dates and losing a ton of weight, it seemed that maybe all the traveling and sweating it out on stage in front of thousands of fans had taken its toll. How wrong we were! Not only is Bob Seger still standing, he's set up for another set of Bob Seger tour dates this fall. Check them out below:

11/2 Ypsilanti, MI - Eastern Michigan University
11/4 Columbus, OH - Nationwide Arena

Ready to Turn the Page

The Bob Seger tour is winding down and the man behind the Silver Bullet Band is beginning to feel his 66 years creeping up on him (Seger turned 66 this year). For fans, this may be the last time to see the man up close and personal on the road. He hasn't committed either way but has stated publicly that if there are more shows, there won't be that many. With two-and-a-half hours of music each night it's no wonder things are starting to slow down. With that in mind, Bob Seger tickets are still available for his remaining shows. Check him out live in the video below:
